A report from Chris

Healesville festival - God's provision - we turned up around 9.30am, the venue was already packed out and it was not looking good - but the Lord makes a way. Jean who runs the festivals, gave us a prime spot in the main thoroughfare, and was insistent that we put up our spiritual journey sign - in spite of cramped conditions. She wanted us to be seen and have a visual presence, and could not do enough to accommodate us. Throughout the day, we had steady traffic - the people were receptive and open - all up we had about 30-35 solid hits.
I prayed for 4 different people, who felt an instant shift in their feelings and hearts. Peter came to relieve Chris and myself (Paul) for a break, and during this time, Peter shared and gave out a number of New Testaments. God brought people across our path that were open-minded and seeking. The day was full and it flew by. Thanks for all who prayed, for the Lord answered and honoured your prayers.
It was a good time of blessing. During the day we had a photographer stop and take pictures of our stall. He explained that he was taking photos of different stalls as Jean wanted to post them on the website advertising their festivals. He commented that our stall was very colourful, eye-catching and interesting. As well as good conversations to festival visitors, we also had good conversations with some stall holders, with whom we are starting to build good relationships with. God is awesome how he works!

A report from Peter

I had some very good sharing opportunities.
Annie a cleaner from Lilydale in her mid forties took a bible and promised to read the first few chapters and was very open to Jesus.
Another couple, Stephen and Margaret, had a long share and Margaret an avowed atheist agreed to read the gospels.
All together a very good day.
